Security & data protection

Your data, protected like it's ours.

You run your business on DumpsterOS — customer records, job history, every dollar billed. Here's exactly how we keep it safe, in plain language.

🔒

Encrypted end to end

Every connection uses TLS, and your data is encrypted at rest on managed Postgres. Passwords are hashed with bcrypt — never stored in plain text.

🗄️

Backed up, recoverable

Continuous point-in-time recovery plus nightly off-instance backups. A bad day is a rewind, not a loss.

🧱

Your data is your data

Every hauler's records are isolated by design — one company can never see another's. It's enforced in the database and checked automatically on every build.

🔑

Role-based access

Owners, dispatchers, drivers, accountants and customers each see only what their role allows — enforced on the server, not just hidden in the UI.

📤

You can always leave

Your data is yours. Free CSV and QuickBooks export, any time — no lock-in, no ransom.

🛰️

Built on trusted infrastructure

DumpsterOS runs on SOC 2 Type II-compliant cloud infrastructure (AWS), in US data centers — the same foundation trusted by enterprise software.

A straight answer on compliance

Our cloud infrastructure is SOC 2 Type II-compliant. DumpsterOS itself is a growing product from FlockSoft LLC, and we're transparent about where we are: we practice the controls that matter — encryption, isolation, least-privilege access, tested backups — and we'll pursue our own formal certifications as we grow. If your organization needs specific documentation, just ask.
